Located within 500 metres of the pristine Somerton Beach the
Somerton Bowling Club has recently celebrated its 75th year of
successful operation. Being only two kilometres from Glenelg,
one of Adelaide's most popular tourist destinations and Jetty
Road Brighton 2.5km away also we are readily accessible by
public transport with the 265 Bus stopping outside the clubhouse
and connecting to Brighton Railway Station and Marion Shopping
Centre one way and Glenelg and Adelaide City the other. We have
4 greens and 22 rinks of tiftdwarf grass which are considered to
be amongst the very best in South Australia. Our Function Centre
(clubhouse) is well equipped with a commercial standard bar and
kitchen. This facility caters for seminars, conferences,
weddings and private functions up to approximately 180 people
(dependent on format).
Club membership is from 1st April to 31st March each year

Full Member - 1st Year Pennant Player $180
Restricted Player $150
Social Member - Non Playing $50
Junior Member - waived at the discretion of the Board.
